These past years running this website have been a lot of fun, and a great experience for me. It's definitely something I can see myself doing for a long time. However, from this season on, I won't be doing it from Mogadore or Ohio for that matter.
Some of you may or may not know, but during the 2005 season, I ran the site from Alaska where I was living for the year. It saddens me to announce that I am moving back up there this summer for good, and won't be around to cover the games any longer. The website WILL continue to operate as normal, but it will just be a little lighter on content regarding pictures and game recaps. I'll get what I can from newspapers, but it would be great to get a little more. Any fans who can or would like help out by emailing pictures or comments about a game are more than welcome to do so at mogadorefootball@yahoo.com.
Also, if you haven't done so already please check out the Stadium Improvements link in the upper right hand corner. The proposed improvements are sorely needed, and it would be great to have them in place as soon as possible. In my opinion, Wildcat Stadium is already one of the finer small school venues in Ohio, but we are lacking in the two areas covered by the plan: restroom facilities and a reliable scoreboard.
Thank you in advance for your understanding while I make this move, and thank you for visiting and making this site what it is. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email me at the address above.
GO CATS!

After some unexpected changes, the 2008 Mogadore varsity football schedule is set. The league schedule will remain the same order as last season, with the home and away sites being reversed. The out of conference schedule will see two newcomers in Mineral Ridge and Holy Trinity.
Mineral Ridge finished last season with an 8-2 record, though it was only good enough for a tenth place finish in Division 5, Region 17. Mogadore will travel to Mineral Ridge in week 1 to face the Rams, who are out of the Inter Tri County League.
Week two, originally scheduled to be against New Middletown Springfield, will now see Mogadore's first game against a team from Canada. The Holy Trinity Titans will make the trip to Wildcat Stadium on August 29th.
In the meantime, enjoy two of the greatest games in school history: The 1996 and 2002 State Championships.
